something about Food For Thohght

I want to talk about FOOD FOR THOUGHT.This passage tells us that different countries have different kinds of food.Food is a good way for people to learn about their country history, culture, tradition and even future. This article gives us examples for the food in America, Iran and France. Chinese food which has its own charactor is very differet these of other parts .Chinese people pay much attention on their food. They consider A kind of food should tastes well, looks attractive and smells well. Any element can not be absent. Before I came to the US,I learned that foreigners think Chinese food is not healthy because they think Chinese put much oil in their food.I thought they were right at that time. But now,I find that Chinese food is both delicious and healthy.Because Chinese know how important the nutrition is. What's more, everyday they spend much time making food.Because it's a kind of culture to have dinner ,together which we call it "DINNER CULTURE".While we 're having dinner ,it's time for us to communicate with each other. Then, food is a broadcaster to share feelings.
From this article , I learn about different countries food. It's a good way to learn about their culture.

I definitely agree with your opinion that Chinese food is delicious. I really found the greatness of Chinese food after I arrived in USA. I miss hot pot......

But I don't think Chinese food is good for health. The accident of infant milk tells us Chinese food is not as qualified as American food. People spray too much pesticides on vegetables and feed herds the forage which involves hormone. That makes me worried about my health.

I was in China a couple of years ago and I remember sharing food during dinners. Eating in a restaurant in China is a contrast from eating dinner in a restaurant in the US. In the US, we often order individual meals and don't share ( but I do :). Anyway, I think the way that Americans and Chinese people eat dinners could reflect some cultural dinners. Americans live in a more individualistic society, whereas China is considered to be more collective society. I wonder if it's reflected in how we share our meals?

Hi alyssar
Different social values reflect how we share our meals. In my opinion, In China, people want to share food with others . We sit around the round table which means reunion. But now people share food with the public chopsticks for clean. They take food from the plates into their own dishes.
